Hand Engraved Edler Futhark Runes

Runes are common divination tool that can be used alone or alongside other tools, like tarot or oracle cards. Elder Futhark is the oldest form of the runic alphabet, used by Germanic tribes from approximately the 2nd to 8th centuries CE. Each rune has a symbolic meaning, tied to nature, dieties, and life. 

These Elder Futhark runes are engraved by hand on 1inch-1.5ich black river rocks while I meditated on and envisioned their individual intentions. River rocks were chosen because they are a natrual material found in the earth that has been smoothed down by the water so they can be cleanly engraved on one side. In my experience with my own practice, runes made of a natural material (instead of synthetic materials like resin) have a stronger connection to the natural energy of the universe. 

Each set includes all 24 runes, a celestial themed velvet carrying pouch, and a small chart explaining their different meanings/messages.

Since they are all hand engraved and made out of river rocks, no two sets are exactly alike with very slight variances from set to set. (i.e. line weight or stone size)
